I had not heard of this until today. Evidently, a group of birth mother's in Seattle begin remembering this day, the day before Mother's day, as Birth Mother's Day.
A friend on facebook shared the Everything to Me music video by Mark Shultz, a message of thanks to his birth mom.
I am bringing back one of my favorite birth mother videos
- Can I Live by Nick Cannon
And of course, especially remembering in prayer those who still long for motherhood.

Day 30
Are you familiar with Matisyahu? This song just came into my head. Love him (shout out to my brother in law who tried forever to get us to love his music). We love dancing around the house to his music. Augie has THE.CUTEST. dance moves. I can't wait to share some of his pics on the blog.

Another Amazing Adoption Story (song)
This one is close to my heart! Friends from way back have been trying to adopt from Haiti since shortly after the disaster. This is a video of Michelle and Chris, who are trying to adopt David and Olguin (shown in the video). What a great song and sweet video!! I am adding this one to my song page!

Meant to Be - Steven Curtis Chapman
This is a beautiful song and Steven Curtis Chapman is an amazing advocate for adoption. It is so touching to see images of his daughter Maria in the video. :*-)

Sweet Sweet Baby
I fell in love with the song "Sweet Sweet Baby" by Michelle Featherstone when I first heard it while viewing pictures of a friend's new baby. I love the lyrics. I had a generic copy but that disappeared from youtube...so here is someone else's adoption story so you can hear the song, lol. On that, more reflections of fostering to follow soon. For now, I took a few pictures for SBR's baby book. Sharing two of my favorites.

Ave Maria, and goosebumps
I just recalled this awesome youtube video on a friend's blog. I thought I would post it here in case any one hasn't seen yet. This is Bobby McFerrin (Don't Worry, Be Happy).
