I know who you are!

Or where you are, at least! I attached a google analytics tag on our blog, which allows us to see our visitors (and all the random statistics you could ever want to know about the visits).

Mom, Grandma T, wins the prize for most visits in the last month.

We watched a special on the Google search empire recently. It is amazing how much we reveal about ourselves online. But for our purposes, it is fun to see where our traffic comes from. :)

HI Elisabeth,

It's me, your fellow sleep deprived mom, Elisa. My Anthony turns 20 months on May 2 and he is still not sleeping through the night. Please don't feel alone on this, and don't mind anyone who asks about it. I am a big fan of all of Dr Sears books and his website askdrsears.com ( actually I think two or three of his eight kids became pediatricians, like him) and they do say that it is common for children not to sleep through the night for awhile. My only advice is to keep taking those naps when you can. It makes a difference in your outlook, and of course, your stamina. Don't forget that breastfeeding moms' bodies are working harder than the bodies of moms who do not breastfeed because we are constantly making milk. So feed yourself right!! For instance, I had half a jumbo bag of Twizzlers today!! and then I followed it with leftover paella and cheese cake... and I can't seem to gain the weight! Is it any wonder, when your child becomes a bit more mobile, and you think just when you are getting the hang of this motherhood thing- in comes the awful cross of teething (really why must they suffer??), and still no sleepy!!!NO sleepy for mommy!!!
Let's pray for sleep and the wisdom to know when to call it quits for the night!

love elisa
