So wonderful to read your story at Jen's! We have three homegrown girls and one son who is a transplant. Since adopting, we had difficulty conceiving and staying pregnant.
We were on the same track last year. In November, my husband and I had decided to go to a foster care meeting to become aquainted with the program and try to make a discernment from it. One thing after another came up and we couldn't make November's mtgs. I didn't want to put one more thing on our December calendar, so we opted for Jan. That's when I found out I was expecting again. Then we miscarried. It was heart breaking and I told myself I just could not do it emotionally again. My heart hurt and couldn't even look at the adoption process. Low and behold, I found out I was expecting AGAIN this past summer and now am 28 weeks. So far, so good. Loved hearing your story. Thanks for sharing it!
